Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms palappam podi


  • 4 tbsp sugar


  • 1/2 tsp salt-


  • 850 ml water (light warm)


  • 5 nos egg (boiled and cut into 4 pieces)


  • 3 nos big onion (sliced)


  • 40 gms eastern egg masala


  • 3 tbsp refined vegetable oil


  • 3 nos green chilly sliced


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 1/2 cups mustard


  • 1 cups water


  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

  • Preparation-Mix all the ingredients of the Palappam mix thoroughly in a mixer for 1 min
  • After 1 hour delicious Palappams can be made
  • Note: (½ to 1 glass of milk +5 to 5 ½ glasses of water (instead of 5 to 6 glasses of water) will improve the taste and softness)
  • Cooking-Heat oil
  • Crackle mustard and saute sliced onion till the onion turn golden brown
  • Add green chilly, curry leaves and salt
  • Add Eastern Egg Masala and sauté further
  • Pour the required water and bring to boil
  • Now add sliced Eggs
  • When gravy thickens remove from fire and serve hot
